Your Lack of Giving Will Guarantee Your Cycle of Poverty!
I want to encourage someone this morning who is just sick and tired of being "Broke" in fact, you are so fed up that you don't want to hear another preacher begging you for another penny.
You are tired of your kids asking for what you don't have and not having the fuel to go from point A to point B. Tired of not having enough food. In fact, I hear someone saying, "it would not be as bad if I didn't have a family to take care of."
Well, my friend, this morning, I want to provide you with the key out of your perplexing financial situation, and guess what? It does not require you to give to any religious institution.
THE KEY TO FINANCIAL RECOVERY IS TO GIVE YOUR WAY OUT OF YOUR CURRENT LACKING POSITION!
Scripture says, "He that scatters (he that gives) will increase, but he that does not provide or holds on to more than he needs is guaranteed poverty.
Scripture says, "The liberal soul shall be made fat, and he that watereth shall be watered himself, Proverbs 11:24-25.
The point I want to pound into your understanding this morning is simply this, STOP SAYING YOU HAVE NOTHING TO GIVE AND STOP RESERVING YOUR GIVING ONLY TO A RELIGIOUS INSTITUTION!
Whenever you ask God for a financial release, breakthrough, miracle, or whatever, the protocol to his answer would be the above scripture, which I might add is his law. It is not by chance or accident that you've been praying for finances, and suddenly, someone in a far less position is asking you for something.
That Beggar at the traffic stoplight or gas station ATM machine is your ticket to get out of your financial distress (simply by helping them, even though you need help). Those clothing and shoes that you have no more use for are all seeds to invest into someone else's life to bring an increase to your life. Forgiving others for the wrong they've done to you is another form of giving.
The lady at Zarephath, who was sick and tired of being broke and about to give up on life, did not realize that a small gesture of giving (something in her possession that she thought meant nothing) to Elijah the prophet would change her entire life. Her wealth, increase, and abundance amazingly was wrapped up in her handful of meal, and a little oil in a cruse, that small as it might be, once sown into someone else's life, will do wonders for her, wow! 1 Kings 17:8-16.
The above scriptures provided the mystery (secret) of wealth and poverty. It clearly stated that if one gives, they will increase, and the liberal (free or giving) soul shall be made fat (wealthy). The scripture compounds the point by reiterating that he that watereth (gives to or helps others) will eventually be watereth himself (someone must give to him).
I want to tell someone this morning who's sick and tired of being sick and tired that all is not lost, and there is tremendous hope if you decide to do it the Biblical way!
The hope is you have something in your possession that you've been holding on to that, if RELEASED, can change the state and direction of your life. It could be money, clothing, love, unforgiveness, bottom line you must release to increase. I promise you, what you make happen for others, God will CERTAINLY make happen for you....... This is a law! NOTHING IS HAPPENING FOR YOU BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT MAKING IT HAPPEN FOR OTHERS...................... STOP LOOKING AT WHAT YOU DON'T HAVE AND BEGIN GIVING WHAT YOU DO HAVE, WHATEVER THAT MAY BE.
I know I am confirming some things with many of you this morning, meaning you now know, what you need to do to break loose of the bondages you've found yourself in, and that is YOU MUST GIVE YOUR WAY OUT OF YOUR CURRENT CIRCUMSTANCES.............
"My people are perishing due to a lack of available knowledge."
